I'm George Yameen, the creator of PingPongWatch. I built this app because I love table tennis and wanted a better way to track my game. Here's the straight talk on how your data is handled.
PingPongWatch uses your Apple Watch sensors to track your ping pong shots and provide feedback. Your shot and performance data stays on your device.
PingPongWatch processes your shot tracking locally on your Apple Watch and iPhone. Your shot stats, match scores, performance metrics, and session history stay on your devices.
To track your workouts, PingPongWatch reads motion-sensor data and, with your permission, heart rate and calorie data from Apple Health. This information is used on your device to show your session insights and to save your workouts back to the Apple Health app. Your health and motion data is never collected, sold, or sent to us or any third party.
PingPongWatch offers an optional subscription. Purchases are handled securely by Apple and our subscription provider (RevenueCat). We never see or store your payment card details.
PingPongWatch does not use third-party analytics services. No personal information, health data, or ping pong performance data is collected by us.
PingPongWatch is safe for players of all ages. We don't collect any personal information that identifies users.
We use the following third-party service:
