What your watch picks up on court

  • Padel shots by name

Drives, volleys and lobs off both sides, plus the overheads: bandeja, víbora and smash. Your watch's motion sensors pick them up as you play.

  • Good, medium or poor

Each swing gets one of three ratings. When the match ends, your watch shows how your swings split between them.

  • Real padel scoring

15, 30, 40 and a golden point at 40-40. Sets to six games, won by two, a tiebreak at 6-6 and best of three. Tap Us or Them to add a point, and undo if you slip.

  • Estimated speed in mph

A top and average figure in mph for each match. The watch estimates it from how fast your wrist turns through the shot.

  • Apple Health workouts

With your permission, each match is saved to Apple Health as a workout with heart rate and calories.

  • Results on your iPhone

Look back at past matches and results, and share a match card after you play. The iPhone app needs a subscription.

How it works

  1. Start a session in PadelWatch on your Apple Watch before the first serve.
  2. Get on with the match. Between points, tap the score screen to give the point to Us or Them.
  3. When the match ends, your watch shows your shot mix, swing ratings and estimated speed. The match then shows up in the iPhone app.

Questions

Can an Apple Watch track padel?

Yes. PadelWatch is a padel app built for Apple Watch. It reads your shots from wrist motion, keeps the padel score and records each match as a workout.

Does it use golden point scoring?

Yes. At 40-40 the next point wins the game, with no advantage. Sets go to six games, won by two, with a tiebreak at 6-6. Matches are best of three.

How much does PadelWatch cost?

Nothing to download. Shot tracking and scoring on the watch are free. On iPhone you need a subscription to see your matches, trends and extra stats such as estimated top speed.

Can I leave my phone off court?

Yes. The watch tracks shots and score on its own. The match copies across to your iPhone once the two reconnect.

Does it work with my Apple Watch?

It does if the watch runs watchOS 26.2 or later. The PadelWatch app on your iPhone asks for iOS 26.2 or later.

How accurate is the speed number?

Treat it as a guide. PadelWatch estimates how fast your racket moves from your wrist motion. Ball speed isn't measured.

What happens to my data?

The privacy policy says PadelWatch tracks your shots on your Apple Watch and iPhone and uses no third-party analytics. Workouts reach Apple Health only with your permission, and RevenueCat processes anonymous purchase receipts. The full details are in the PadelWatch privacy policy.
